About Dr. Farooque Kohari

Dr. Henna Kohari is an Attending Physiatrist at OrthoLinks Orthopedics and Rehabilitation. She serves patients with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. Her addition to the OrthoLinks staff allows us to continue to be the preferred orthopedic practice in the Tampa Bay area. 

After earning her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed residency in physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R) at Stony Brook University where she also served as chief resident. She completed addition training at a fellowship in sports medicine at Atlantic Sports Health. She participated in coverage of the New York Jets, NFL combine, Skyland Kings, Seton Hall University, and New Jersey City University. 

Dr. Kohari's clinical practice focuses on the conservative treatment of acute sports medicine injuries and other musculoskeletal disorders. She is skilled in ultrasound-guided peripheral joint and soft tissue injections. Her goal is to work with patients to optimize function, return to an active lifestyle and help prevent future injury. She works as a team with Dr Hunt, orthopedic surgeon and founder of OrthoLinks, to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care for Tampa Bay area patients. 

Dr. Kohari has been involved in multiple research projects. She was recently married and moved to the Tampa Bay area. She has already established a reputation as a skilled, preferred physician in the Tampa Bay Area. She is excited to be part of the most technologically advanced orthopedic practice in Tampa. Using DARI motion screening, NeuFit and other technologies typically only available to professional athletes and research institutes.
